𝕄𝔼𝕄𝕆ℝ𝕐 𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕊𝔼:
Colossians 1:13 – “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”
𝕄𝕆𝕋𝕀𝕍𝔸𝕋𝕀𝕆ℕ𝔸𝕃 ℚ𝕌𝕆𝕋𝔼𝕊:
You must cling to Jesus and put to death your old ways of life, If you desire a new life.

𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗕𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗡, 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧, 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦.
MFM Daily Devotional 6 June 2024 MESSAGE:
There is an old life we have been living in the flesh before knowing Christ, a sinful life, a life of unrighteousness! Glory be to God who delivered us from this filthy and unworthy life and cleansed us with the blood of Jesus from all unrighteousness. He delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of Light, of His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. This is the New Life!
The Bible makes it clear to us that when a man is in Christ Jesus, he becomes a new creature, delivered, cleansed and redeemed. As a result, old things are gone, and all things become new. What a total transformation within and without! Everything changes for good.
Little wonder then, that the apostle Paul exclaimed in full surrender and conviction of this new life which he is now living. But interestingly, he couldn’t live this new life all by himself. Even, we, our human abilities and capabilities are not enough to live this life successfully.
We need Christ in us, just like Paul. It is not by power or might but it can only be made possible by the Spirit of God in us. As a result, no man can boast of living this new life by himself or herself. It is Christ in us, the Hope of glory.
How then can this be made possible? Beloved, you start by giving your life to Christ. I mean a total surrender, not just answering the altar call, which many people have turned to mere fun these days. It is about being crucified with Christ.
Your old personality must die with Christ. In a way that is beyond man, Christ who now lives in you will give you the grace and power to begin to live a new life by faith in Him.
Remember, He gave his life and died for us, as a result of the love with which He loves us and redeemed us from our old ways, so that we can be reconciled with our heavenly Father through Him, Jesus Christ.
To obtain and enjoy these privileges, you must die to self, the world and to sin! You are called to live a new life in God through Christ Jesus (Galatians 2:20).
TODAY’S PRAYER POINTS:
𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
1. By the power of God, I decree death upon the old man in me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Holy Spirit, strengthen my inner man with Your fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Enticement to sin and worldliness, die in my life, in the name of Jesus.
𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
4. My inner man, resist and reject every activity of the flesh, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, arise and help me to live a life that is worthy of Your glory, in the name of Jesus
6. Holy Spirit, purge my life with fire and the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
7. Power of a new life in Christ, possess me now, in the name of Jesus.
