TOPIC: Life In Faith
𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼 𝕊ℂℝ𝕀ℙ𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔼: Romans 5:1-2
𝕄𝔼𝕄𝕆ℝ𝕐 𝕍𝔼ℝ𝕊𝔼:
Romans 1:17 – “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
𝕄𝕆𝕋𝕀𝕍𝔸𝕋𝕀𝕆ℕ𝔸𝕃 ℚ𝕌𝕆𝕋𝔼𝕊:
If you lose faith, you lose all.

𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗘𝗡𝗝𝗢𝗬 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡-𝗧𝗢𝗣 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘, 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦.
MFM Daily Devotional 1 June 2024 MESSAGE
Faith is so essential to our Christian life that we should learn more about it from time to time and practise it more profitably. Life in faith is the kind of life that God has prescribed for us. It is the kind of life that is capable of making us to become all that God has purposed for us to be and to possess all that He has for us.
What does life in faith entail? (1) It entails that we walk by faith – 2 Corinthians 5:7. As believers, we should not be led or guided by our carnal nature but by faith in God and His Christ.
(2) It entails that we stand firm and uncompromising by faith – 2 Corinthians 1:24
(3) It entails that we live by faith – Romans 1:7
(4) It entails that we fight the good fight of faith – 1 Timothy 6:12. By doing this, we will also lay hold on eternal life.
(5) It entails our acknowledging the truth that we are victorious by faith. In 1 John 5:4, the Bible says, “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” Living in this timeless truth is highly liberating.
6) Life in faith gives us access to grace by faith. Romans 5:2 put it this way, “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of this glory of God.”
(7) We are justified by faith in Christ and His work (Romans 3:28; 5:1). God Himself justifies us (Romans 3:26). We are also justified by grace (Romans 3:24). We are justified by the blood of Jesus (Romans 5:9; Exodus 12:13). We are justified by the resurrection of Christ (Romans 4:25).
Beloved, life in faith is so amazing and so rewarding. To live in faith, you must give your life to Jesus and make Him your Saviour and Lord. You must become a lover, avid reader and doer of God’s word. You must befriend the Holy Spirit and receive His baptism and the baptism of fire.
You must become a prayer warrior and ask God to give you the gift of faith. Beloved, life in faith involves trusting God alone for all your needs at all times and in all situations.
ℙℝ𝔸𝕐𝔼ℝ ℙ𝕆𝕀ℕ𝕋𝕊:
𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
1. Father, give me firm and uncompromising faith, in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, help me to live by faith and trust in You alone at all times, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, help me to fight the good fight of faith, in the name of Jesus.
𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
4. Father, I thank You for justifying me by grace, in the name of Jesus.
5. This year, I shall walk by faith and not by sight, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, give me the gift of faith, in the name of Jesus.
7. O God, by Your mercy, make my faith exceedingly rewarding this year, in the name of Jesus.
