OPENING PRAYER: Grant me grace dear Lord to apply what you will teach me today as I read this passage.

DAILY GUIDE 20 MARCH 2024 DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE:
The beloved spoke well of herself, and the lover also spoke well of her (vs.1-2). When you learn to appreciate yourself, your spouse will appreciate you the more; and you will be able to give and receive love.
The beloved calls him, “my lover” (vs.3,8-10). What names does the lover call his beloved (vs.2, 10,13-14)? Who is your spouse to you and what expressions of love do you use for each other?
Read and reflect on vs.3-7 again. As a husband, is your love the banner over your wife? How often do you invite her into your ‘banquet hall’ (vs.4,10,13) and how long and how much does she desire to sit under the roof of your love and partake of its sweet and precious fruits?
Often, men complain that their wives are not submitting to them as the bible commands. But is your wife comfortable under the banner of your love? When you love your wife as the bible commands, you will make it easier for her to readily submit to you in obedience to God’s word (Ephesians 5:25-33; Colossians 3:18-19).
Practice/Word Application
What next? Are there little foxes that are destroying your marriage and not allowing your love for each other to blossom? Identify them and make it a matter of prayer.

CLOSING PRAYER
Appreciate God for your spouse and pray that your love for each other will grow more and more.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Jeremiah 20:11

• Upholding the Regional Committee members as they serve the Lord through their various portfolios.
• His provision, protection and preservation of the committee members in all their endeavours especially in the service of the master.
PRAY FOR:
• God’s hand to graciously work in the lives of the committee members for greater exploits and results.
• The Regional Chairman, Engr. Roberts Eke as he and his team drive the vision ‘Christ Focus, Value driven, Outcome based’ in lifting the work of the union within the Region to another level.
• The Regional Coordinator, Bro Patrick Okoh for more of God’s grace and manifestation of His Spirit in him as he pilots the affairs of the ministry in the Region.
