And there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where someone was not dead.

MFM Devotional Today 10 February 2024 MESSAGE:
The mystery of midnight prayer can never be fully exhausted. It is a known fact that the spiritual controls the physical and all the major battles God fought in the Bible happened in the midnight.
No wonder the Bible says in Matthew 13:25, “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.”
Note that the man did not know when that transaction took place; he only noticed the outcome when problems began to manifest in his life. Therefore, the midnight period is meant for prayers so that evil will not be planted in one’s life. The midnight hour is a transition period between the outgoing day and the new day. The demons that move about in the night hours are three times more than the ones that operate during the day.
In our Fire Scriptures, it was at midnight that God also moved through the land of Egypt to kill all the firstborn of Pharaoh and all the Egyptians. The midnight hour should not be given to frivolities. The Psalmist also said in our memory verse that, “At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgment.” This tells us that the Psalmist knows the importance of the midnight hour. He was not going to toy with it.
Have you been suffering defeats in the hand of the enemies? Are you being oppressed? Some people, immediately the night is coming, will be afraid. Some will be unable to sleep. Some will find themselves being pursued. If you are in this situation, you had better start to explore the midnight prayers.
Have you ever slept and woke up with marks or scratches on your body? Do you always feel empty when you wake up in the morning or you feel so tired like someone who worked through the night?
It is time you explore the midnight prayer. You can start small and build up your stamina.

7. Let God arise and let the enemies of my next level be scattered, in the Name of Jesus.
