𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼 𝕊ℂℝ𝕀ℙ𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔼: Judges 6:1-8
1 Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years, 2 and the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made for themselves the dens, the caves, and the strongholds which are in the mountains.
3 So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. 4 Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey.
5 For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were [a]without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it. 6 So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord.
7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites, 8 that the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of [b]bondage;

𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗜𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗗𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗟𝗬, 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗦.
MFM DEVOTIONAL 27TH JANUARY 2024 𝕄𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔸𝔾𝔼:
Today, we are looking at “War against the Enemies of Your Harvest.” War is organised armed conflict between two opposing forces. It is also a serious unrelenting campaign against some ills in the land or in the society. Harvest, on the other hand, is the process of gathering the ripened crops or farm produce of a farmer. Harvest can also be said to be a period of payback of all sweat and efforts that a man puts into a venture. In our Fire Scripture for today. it was always during the harvest that marauders come to plunder the children of Israel.
In fact, they had about three groups to contend with. They were working but couldn’t enjoy the reward of their labour. The enemies will come like locusts and cart away everything they have suffered for. When you have an enemy that eats your harvest, it shows that the enemy does not mean well for you. The verse 6a of our Fire Scripture says that, “And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites.”
Who are the enemies of harvest? They are the powers that want you to work and not eat out of it. They are the powers that like to reap where they did not sow. They are the powers that hate your joy and celebration with perfect hatred. They are the powers that enjoy seeing you suffer. A woman had prominent children abroad: medical doctors, lawyers, etc. However because her sister’s husband abandoned her and disappeared, this woman started to help her sister with rent, school fees and the rest. A few years later, all her children were no longer communicating with her; they changed their lines and she couldn’t reach them. She was in this situation for nine years before God intervened.
Beloved, you must be violent and wage war against the spiritual powers that attack and destroy people’s harvest, just as the Midianites were forcefully and unjustly taking the harvests of the children of Israel. You must not allow the rod of the wicked and harvest wasters to rest on your lot. Arise and chase them out of your life. I pray that the Lord will help you, in Jesus’ name.

1. Unfriendly friends in the garden of my life, be exposed and be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every secret and open enemy die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Holy Spirit divine, make me serisitive to everything around me, in the name of Jesus.

4. Any power attacking my day of joy, die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Powers standing between me and my next level, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
6. Helpers of destiny, appear and help me, in the name of Jesus.
7. Powers that want me to work but not to eat, you are liars, die, in the name of Jesus.
