“And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.” (Matthew 2: 12)
When God warned the wise men not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country through another way. They came through a particular way, but they left through another way. Their movement experienced a new dimension that was not evident in their earlier movement. If Herod went back to the same way they came from, he wouldn’t have seen them because they went through another way.
Friend, I pray for you: may your generation not find you in the same way they saw you before. May your generation not find you predictable. May you be counted amongst those whose lives are continuously unfolding new chapters. May new doors be opened to you. May new dimensions of wisdom unfold in you. May you be filled with new, uncommon ideas that will cause men to be drawn to you. May the Lord show you another way.
Today, I pray for you: parts of you that your generation has not seen before, I command it to arise in you. I call forth your new season. I call forth your higher levels. I call forth new dimensions of your destiny. I call forth new ideas that will push you forward. Let a bigger, newer part of you arise. Let new pathways to higher results be unveiled to you. Let the Lord reveal to you the new ways that will take you to your high places.
May it never be said that you became predictable. May it never be said that you offered your generation the same thing you have always offered. May the freshness of unction and anointing be upon you. May the freshness of divine inspiration and revelation manifest in you. May your destiny witness the unveiling of new chapters. May your career, business, finances, vocation, etc. witness the unveiling of new, more interesting dimensions.
When men think there is nothing more to you, let a higher side of you be unveiled. When men think they have seen all there is in you, may the Lord shock them with another way.
John 3: 8 says: “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”
