“All the work of the tent of the Lord’s presence was finally completed. The Israelites made everything just as the Lord had commanded Moses” (v.32). Notice the diligence and carefulness of the workers. It must have brought great joy and satisfaction to the experts and the Israelites who did everything according to God’s commandment (v.42).
That everything was done as God commanded, even for the smallest details, appears many times in this chapter. This shows that God is interested in every part of His work, and therefore interested in even the smallest things concerning us. We should not be afraid to bring anything that affects our lives – whether small or big – to Him. We must never forget also that strict adherence to God’s standards in life and service is a principle never to be overlooked if we would expect God’s approval.
Moses examined the work to certify its completeness and he blessed the people (v.43). As leaders in the church and fellowship, we must be apt to supervise those working under us to ensure that God’s work is properly done. We shall be blessed with great reward when we complete our work on earth (Revelation 22:12).
From vs.33-41, list the articles used for the work of the tabernacle and notice their significance.
