BIBLE READING:Â Job 22-24
TEXT: “Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.” Psalm 49 :20.
OFM Rhema For Living 2nd June 2023 MESSAGE: Understanding helps you to stand out. The reason some men walk dishonourly is because they lack the understanding of who they are, that they are men of honour. It is lack of understanding that makes the redeemed man to pattern his life after the dishonourly nature of the unsaved man operating in the nature of the first Adam.
A man of honour upholds righteousness which is his new nature in Christ Jesus.
He detects sin and flees every appearance of evil. He knows righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any group of people Prov. 14 :34.. He confesses Christ to the world, never ashamed to do so. He carries himself with dignity speaking when necessary and acting accordingly. He walks in accordance with the word of God which is the standard of honour in God’s kingdom.
He walks in dominion, walking according to the leading of the Spirit. He acts according to what is commanded and not what is convenient. He is a man of humility, ever willing to be led. He shines forth his light radiating the glory of God. He is an ambassador of the kingdom of God.
Child of God, to walk contrary to whom God has created you is to be likened to a beast that perishes. God didn’t created you a beast, He made you a man of honour, so arise and walk in the light of who you are.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I arise and walk as man of honour.
