Waiting in Vain

BIBLE READING: 2 Chronicles 1-3

TEXT: “The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.” – Ps. 37 :32 – 33

OFM Rhema For Living 4th May 2023: Every waiting by the adversary of your destiny to do you hurt, I declare by the Spirit of God that they shall wait in vain. God declares in our text of emphasis that He will not leave you in their hands. Meaning however they plan, strategize or device your hurt, they shall be frustrated.

The God you serve specializes in disappointing the devices of the crafty so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise. Job 5 :12.. Concerning any evil plot against you, He declares in Isaiah 7 :7; “Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.”

And in Isaiah 8 :9 – 10; He declares, “Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.”

Listen, you are not the first, nor would be the last that God would frustrate all plots of the adversary against, thereby making the waiting of the enemies to be in vain. If you can recall, there was Herod who was plotting against Jesus to take him out of the way even as a child and he told the wise men to bring him words so he too could go and worship him.

He forget that there is God who has not given His own over to the will of their enemies. And that very moment, God stepped in and led the wise men back through another way frustrating the Herod’s plot. Matt. 2 :1 – 13.

I pray for you again, every waiting of your enemies to do you hurt, it shall be frustrated by fire. I decree, they shall wait in vain.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let the waiting of my enemies to do me hurt be in vain by fire.
