TOPIC: Though Meant For Evil ….
DAILY BIBLE READING: Judges 13-15
TEXT: “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; buy God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive”. Genesis 50 :20.
God will never permit what will lead to your doom. The enemy can scheme, plot or devise evil against you, it doesn’t matter the length they go, it will turn out for good. In the agenda of God for you, all things including the devil are meant to work for your good. Romans 8 :28; put it thus, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose’.
As a lover of God, in the covenant, you have to come to the knowledge that your case is peculiar with God, that the drama of the adversary, that the story line will always end in your favour.
Never allow the outcome of certain events in or around our life make you fall for the trick of the devil that the wickedness of the devil may swallowed you up.
No! Though they meant it for evil, but God had programmed whatever will take place in your life to endd up in your favour. 1 Corinthians 10 :13; unfolds His master plan of a way of escape in every temptation. The brothers of Joseph meant evil for Joseph.
They planned to end his life, buy somehow by divine escape they kept him in the pit and eventually sold him off to the Ishaemlites for twenty pieces of silver and they brought Joseph into Egypt Gen. 37 :18 – 28.
To them, they have put an end to the dreams of Joseph, they have terminated the threat that his destiny poses to them. But unknown to them, they are instrumental to the fulfillment of his destiny, they are tools in the hands of the Almighty in bringing to pass the next phase of his destiny.
