By now, if I were Moses, I would have been discouraged and thoroughly fed up with the continuous but fruitless interactions with Pharaoh and his stubborn officials. Read vs.1-2 and observe three purposes of all these. First God had not finished with His miraculous deeds among the people of Egypt. Second, God also wanted His people to have rich and colourful stories to pass on to their descendants about His deeds in Egypt.
Third, God in all His deeds just wanted His people to know Him more (v.2). No wonder Moses was not tired of doing God’s bidding all the time. God’s work becomes more interesting and less boring when you know very clearly you are acting under His instructions. There may appear to be some monotony or repetition sometimes, but the fact that we are hearing from God makes it worthy of our time.
What specific message did Moses and Aaron have for Pharaoh this time around (vs.3-6)? Notice how the Egyptian officials took the message (v.7) and how Pharaoh approached the impending plague of swarm of locusts (vs.8-11). Many troubles we face are caused by our leaders who refuse God’s counsel. How was this true of Pharaoh according to vs.12-20?

And So? Stand your ground. Never negotiate with the devil.

CLOSING PRAYER
No one can play games with God and get away with it. Do you toy with God’s grace and mercy? Ask the Lord for grace to live a life of obedience.

► Being the true owner of Nigeria and all the people in it.
► The plan He has for our Nation Nigeria is for good and not evil.
PRAY FOR:
► Leaders who will be elected that they will be those who will be obedient to God.
► Those who will acknowledge God and allow Him to direct all they are going to do in Nigeria during their reign.
► The mercy of God to show us the right people and to let only the correct people win the election.
PRAY AGAINST:
► All plans made to rig the election. Pray that the Lord will expose them.
► Every wicked plan to buy votes, or make people compromise their stands.
