Rhema For Living 24th January 2023 MESSAGE
Jesus was a perfect example of how God wants His children to behave towards one another. He never judged or condemned anyone. He corrects them in love and tells them not to sin anymore. He displays the love of the Father in everything, and that is how every child of God ought to live.
In Matthew 7 :1 – 2; scripture counsels,” Judge not, that ye be not judge For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
And in Galatians 6 :1 – 2; it says, “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” In other words, living like Jesus is living in love and not in hate or condemnation of others.
Romans 8 :1; declares, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
As Jesus, do not condemn others but restore then in love, so should every child of God. Jesus nature of love is so amazing that even when the scribes and Pharisees brought into him a woman caught in the very act of adultery stating the law of Moses which condemns such act, Jesus did not act as they expected.
He stooped down and wrote on the ground and said unto them, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her: and they all left one after the other and He said to the woman, “Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? ”
No man Lord,” she replied and Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn thee: go and sin no more. Jn. 8 :3 – 11.
Child of God, living like Jesus is living in love.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me Lord to live in love like you.
