Rhema For Living 3rd January 2023 OFM MESSAGE
If you pause and reflect on the things you have done this far in life, you will realize that the things you excelled in were the things you took out time to prepare for. God has not called us into accidental destines. He predestinated us with a mapped-out plan for us to accomplish destiny; so also He expects us to plan and prepare for His will to be accomplished in our lives.
The year 2023 has just began, what are the goals and objectives you have for you to be a reality of the greatness God has packaged for you?
What are the mapped out steps you have to take per time towards your goals? What are the measures you have employed to discipline yourself towards the accomplishment of those goals?
It is not enough to make resolutions as many do at the beginning of the year from their heads, only to discard them shortly after. You are to make decisions from your heart empowered by the Spirit and you go further to pen them on paper with actionable plans in fulfilling them.
That is why the book of Habakkuk instructs, “Write the vision and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it” Hab. 2 :2.
Whatever you hope to become this year right early begin to prepare for it. God will not force you to. He will guide you and empower the preparation you consciously, intentionally determinedly decided to undergo in Him to accomplish it.
It was Jotham that prepared his ways with God’s backing him, then he became mighty.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace for early preparation.
