Welcome to a greater and more glorious year, the year 2023, a year full of the blessings of the Lord. That you have stepped into 2023, already means that you would enjoy it. Therefore with a grateful hear, open your mouth, begin to once again express thanks to God to whom all blessings flow. The one who saw you through thick and thin, who gave you unending victories over the trials of life, and preserved you all the way to this greater year of His glory.
Give thanks for the New Year that will birth fresh experiences in Christ in your life from the bowels of heaven. The year that will make you more productive, more fruitful in the works of our God. The year that will project you as the beloved of the Lord causing you to rejoice over all your enemies.
Listen, irrespective of what you may have passed through in the past year or even presently passing through, there are far more excitingly pleasant things that had happened for you and one of them is that you are alive today. Consider it, then give thanks from the depth of your heart, permitting all that is within you to express thanks to Him.
Do not allow the enemy to cage you and make you His prey right from this first day of the year, through the spirit of ingratitude due to any untoward circumstances. The Bible says, ‘Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens.
This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live’. (1 Thess 5 :16 – 18; Msg). Therefore shake yourself free and give thanks to God, it’s your time to start again, forge ahead and win.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I give you thanks for your goodness in my life. Truly they cannot be numbered.
