TOPIC: The End In Divine Programme (2)

DAILY BIBLE READING: 2 Corinthians 5-8

TEXT: “So the Lord blessed the letter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.” Job 42 :12..

The end of the year is a phase towards the final end, and every phase is a latter end of the beginning. Each end therefore is ordained in divine programme to be more glorious than the former. Haggi 2 :9; spelt this out saying, “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former , saith the LORD of host; and in this place will I give peace saith the LORD of hosts.”

Whatever former experience of divinity you have from the beginning of this year cannot t be compared to what shall be revealed in your life this end of the year. His desire for you is to give you that expected end packaged for you. His word says, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jer. 29 :11.

So don’t expect anything less because in as much as God has packaged a more glorious life for His children, He cannot force it on them. He honours their thought (Proverbs 23 :7), their words (Numbers 14:28) and their actions. (1 Samuel 2 :3).

The same far more glorious life was declared to Lazarus but he desired the crumps that fell from the rich man’s table.

Despite God’s promise, the ten spies saw themselves as grasshoppers in their own sight and so died like grasshoppers in the wilderness. (Numbers 13 :33; 14 :28 – 29). God expects you to align yourself with His promise for you so they can become reality in your life.

I see you displaying the far more glorious life this end of the year.
