TEXT: “And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, come over into Macedonia, and help us.” – Acts 16 :9.

When you encounter God I’m vision , dreams, trance, you see yourself, your assignment. Serving God on the platform of encounter makes serving God easy. Without encounter, no reality, no conviction, no staying power.

In our anchor text, Paul saw a vision a man calling him to come over to Macedonia
And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called them to preach the gospel unto them. Acts 16:10. Because God had shown him the vision, he delayed not but moved. Many of us because of the encounter we have had personally, we are so sure of the gospel.

Just as 1 John 1 :1; declares, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have heard, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled of the word of life,” we are so sure because we saw it in a vision, dream or/and trance. No one needs to explain to us because we have experienced it ourselves.

Joseph had a dream that his brothers were bowing to him including the stars and the moon Genesis 37 :9 – 10.

Even when the brothers sold him into slavery, in Potiphar’s house, in the prison he still held unto what God had shown him not minding the circumstance around him that were not working with his dreams and it eventually came to pass.

In Acts 10 :10 – 16; Peter went in to a trance where God instructed him not to call unclean what he had cleaned and that made him to preach to the Gentiles.

Encounter through vision, trance and dream bring God closer to you because of personal revelation, one on one with the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, by the Holy Ghost power, let me have an exceptional knowledge of you.
