TOPIC: Supernatural Encounter (4)
BIBLE READING: Romans 8-12
TEXT: “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand and when ye turn to the left”. Isaiah 30 :21.
Encounter is a place where you hear God and you are not undecisive. But in Genesis 3 :8; Scripture says, “And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the ‘cool of the day and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden”. The voice of God walking in the garden is presence and because Adam and Eve sinned, they were running away from presence of God which is his voice.
The voice that is the maker of men. Truly, iniquity makes one to lose greatly.
Encounter through the voice of God is a realm that is reserved for special friends of God. People that walked in a dimension with God. Moses, Abraham and several others walked with God and had encounter with His voice.
Samuel heard the voice of God from the beginning of his ministry to the end 1 Samuel 3 :10.
The voice of God spoke even from the very beginning of the ministry of Jesus. After baptism, a voice spoke, during transfiguration a voice spoke Matt 17 :5 ….. this is my son,’ in whom I am well pleased” hear ye him”.
The voice of God spoke to me to go to Auchi, and I asked if it is Bauchi or Auchi?
And God said, Auchi, “I AM WITH YOU”. An encounter that has kept me going.
Despite all the challenges, Omega Fire Ministries has prevailed and is still soaring like an eagle because of that major encounter and series of encounters built on it. When you encounter God in hearing his voice, you are so sure more than yourself, because you know what He has said to you in private. And that word is always fresh like today even after many years.
I pray for you, you will no more walk without his voice.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me to always listen and obey your voice..
