Several believers are victims of secret enemies because they fail to understand that friendship is a revelation, not on the face. It is not an act or by picture or structure. Friendship s a discovery. It is a revelation, and revelation comes after tribulations and afflictions. God will bring certain people to you after several challenges of human life.

So, if everybody is your friend, you have no friend because you may meet only one true friend in a life, true friends are really not much.

That someone is a colleague of yours, a relative of yours, a neighbor, or of the same committee, church, etc does not make him or her your friend. Friendship goes beyond that. David and Solomon must have had persons of such around each of them, but the bible never made reference to them when discussing of the matter of friendship.

It focused on the friendship of David and Jonathan because it was a soulish friendship, a friendship from the heart with true love and sincerity. A friendship that never wishes hurt or pain on the one he or she loves. A friend at all times, not envious of the progress of his friend but rejoices and celebrates with him Prov. 17 :17.

A friend that does not cast a stone at his friend in public but rebukes him secretly in love. A friend that remembers acts of kindness of his friend and will never in any circumstance do him wrong.
Child of God, it is time to give attention to who your friend is or are. As I have always said friendship is not by force but by choice. When you guard against having wrong friends, you have gone half way in disarming secret enemies.

I pray for you, may the God of heaven give you a friend indeed.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, give me a true friend disconnect me from wrong friendship..
