TOPIC: The Beauty of Zion (4)
BIBLE READING: Matthew 8-14
TEXT: “The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.” Psalms 128 :5.
The blessing of the Lord is released upon you in Zion which empowers you to prosper in the land. Psalms 134 :3; declares ‘The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion”. So if you are a regular worshipper in Zion you become heavily loaded with the blessing which commands the blessings upon your life.
Proverbs 10 :22; says, “The blessing of the LORD it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. ” When the blessing is upon your life, curses and sorrow are forbidden from you and all that concerns you.
It is the blessing that averts all those evil that are programmed against the children of Zion.
Every now and then you hear a child of God testifying that a terrible accident occurred, in which others lost their lives but by God’s mysterious intervention he was safe and unhurt. Why? The blessing upon him triggers the promise “… There shall no evil before thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling for he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.” Ps. 91 :10 – 12.
One of the benefits or redemption is the blessing. Rev. 5: 12; But the blessing including every other gift He received for us needs to be activated. And one of the ways to activate the blessing is by being blessed in Zion. That is why a child of God with understanding does not joke with Zion. He is not only present but expectant and very sensitive to receive the blessing.
To come to Zion religiously is to end up saying when others are testifying “Surely, the LORD is in this place, and I knew it not.” Gen. 28 :16.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, every hold of ignorance in my life, be destroyed by fire..
