Topic: In Everything, Give Thanks
SCRIPTURE: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. – 1 Thessalonians. 5:18
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: In every situation we find ourselves, there is something to thank God for.

MESSAGE: Sometime ago, I was a bit angry with myself because I did not wake up on time to pray in the morning as I should. However, before the devil could use my anger against me, I realised that my challenge was that I did not wake up on time to pray whereas there were those who did not wake up at all that day – they slept and ended in death. I also realised that I was angry that I overslept whereas there are those who can pay any amount of money in order to have a good sleep at night.
Beloved, in every situation we find ourselves, there is something to thank God for. The situation you are facing may be bad but it is never totally bad. If you have a challenge, God is the reason why it is not worse.
Many times, the enemy keeps people’s eyes on their challenges so that they cannot see God’s goodness. If only you can see reasons for thanking God in everything and give Him thanks, you will frustrate the agenda of the devil and provoke God’s counsel and goodness on your life.
Remember this: In every situation we find ourselves, there is something to thank God for.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Take time out today to thank God for your life.
2. Make it a habit to thank God always for everything and in every situation.
