Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Open Heaven For Teens 28 October 2022 Message
As a teenager, you are exposed to influence from your peers. You see your classmates doing certain things and you just want to do it so you dont look odd or different. Sometimes, what your classmates do does not even make sense, yet you feel like copying it. For instance, there was a time that young boys went about in brightly coloured socks and palm slippers.
There was a time getting a tattoo was in vogue.My child, you need to understand that your model is Jesus and though you cannot see Him face to face, you can see Him through His word. During His earthly ministry, in spite of all that the Pharisees did, He never fell.
Each time He did something good such as when He healed someone on a Sabbath day, they objected to it. He never argued with them nor agreed to their objections but in wisdom, He was always quick to answer and enlighten them through the word.
The Bible says you are not of this world even though you are living in it, so rather than allow the world to influence you, you should be the one influencing it.
