Rhema For Living 17 October 2022 OFM Devotional MESSAGE
The third error to be considered which many believers make is that they listen to lies and pass judgment with them. And this is almost like the mistake of judging by appearance earlier discussed in this study. Psalms 112 :5; says a good man will guide his affairs with discretion. A believer is expected to pick it lies by the Spirit of God inside of him but because of hastiness in hearkening to the speaker probably because of emotions many fall for lies and as such misjudge people.
Joshua and the elders of Israel made such mistake.
Hear this, when people know you are a person that is not hasty in taking decisions on their opinion, especially when is against others, they are careful with words around you. But if you are a person that reacts instantly on whatever is said to you irrespective of the person of the speaker or whatever is said to you irrespective of the person of the speaker or whoever he or she speaks against, you are prone to make mistakes because they know they can manipulate you.

The rate at which the Spirit of lies has possessed individuals is alarming. As believers we can cast out that spirit among us by not encouraging lies in our midst with the wisdom of God. When people tell lues against other brethren and the truth eventually comes out, they should be asked to apologize to the ones they offended. It can even be done officially. This I think is the mildest form of discipline.
A system can adopt a higher one to desist people from telling and listening to lies. Ecclesiastes 8 :11; says, “Because sentence against an evil work is not excuted speedily therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil”.
I pray for you, you will not fall for lies any more..
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, by the help of the Spirit, I will not fall victim of lies anymore.
