TOPIC: Out of Them All

BIBLE READING: Lamentation 1-5

TEXT: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” Ps: 34 :19.

Rhema For Living 4 October 2022 OFM Devotional MESSAGE

Being a child of God does not exempt you from persecution and afflictions. As a matter of fact it is the reason for suffering them. The good news is that God is not going to deliver you out of some of them, but out of them all. Speaking to Timothy of the perilous times in the last days, Apostle Paul in 2Timothy 3 :11; declared his personal experience to make Timothy Stand.

He said, “Persecutions, affliction which came unto me at Antioch at Iconium, at Lystra, what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.” He didn’t give up in them, but endured as a good soldier of Christ knowing there will be deliverance, and God who is committed in delivering His children, delivered him out of them all. And in verse 12, he stated, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer affliction.”

Knowing this therefore, why are you crying that afflictions line up themselves against you, that before you recover from one, another has turned up? Hear me, they want to choke you out of the faith, out of your stand to live godly in Christ Jesus. But they cannot if you choose to stand knowing your God is working for you and will deliver you out of them all.

You do not serve a God that sleeps nor slumber, you serve a God that is aware of what you are going to through with already mapped out ways of delivering you out of every trouble that will ever come your way because He knows the beginning and the ending.

So however afflictions come your way, delight yourself in the Lord seeing the end of them and they will come and pass.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, deliver me Lord out of all afflictions of life.
