Rhema For Living 11 September 2022 MESSAGE

What a joy that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! What a joy to have receive this gift of righteousness which cost the precious blood of His only begotten son. And now that we are saved, He wants us to maintain that nature of righteousness not entangling ourselves with any form of iniquity which hinders one’s boldness into the throne of grace for He is holy. Hence our anchor text instructs us on how to approach Him.

And when we have the right standing in righteousness, we reveal the beauty stated in the subsequent verses.

The first beauty of righteousness stated in verse 15; is that we can lift up our faces without spot and shall be steadfast and shall not fear because every misery caused by iniquity is taken away. Righteousness gives one uncommon boldness and confidence. It makes one stand tall not troubled within because there is no skeleton in one’s cupboard.

Listen, no matter the makeup a sinner applies on his or her face, iniquity gives it a spiritual wriggle and spots which empower the accuser of brethren to stand and resist him. More so fear is the garment of iniquity; it is bound to force itself n those who carry it’s properties however the pretense they may put at times. Proverbs 28 :1; says, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Every sinner is under the class of wicked.

Sin punches one’s confidence and makes one less the person he ought to be.

Today, you can yake that stand for righteousness engaging the help of the Holy Spirit who is ever ready to help you.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I make a fresh commitment for righteousness.
