Bible Verse: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:20

Inspirational Message:  Paul here asserts that the attributes of God, such as his power and authority, are clearly revealed in the created world. All men have this witness, rendering them inexcusable before God when they rebel against him. The witness of conscience, God’s law written in every man’s heart, also renders all without excuse. What we may call “natural revelation” does not lend “saving light” as does special revelation (the Bible), but it does eliminate any possible excuse men might make.

Prayer For Today: May we be motivated to spread your Word and Gospel to all the earth, O Lord, knowing that it is the only hope of men lost in their sins. Let us not hold out a false hope for men to be saved without the Gospel but instead endeavor to do our part to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world. As hymn writer Isaac Watts put it, “Send Thy victorious Word abroad and bring the strangers home! ”
