TOPIC: Sovereign Lord, How Long Before You Judge?
OPENING PRAYER: Dear Lord, I request that you help me to encounter you as I meditate on your word.
SCRIPTURE: Revelation 6:1‐17

This chapter pictorially highlights the various types of sufferings that are to befall this earth. Each of the horses that appear identifies with a particular type of tribulation. The involvement of the living creatures at the opening of each of the seals indicates that heaven is completely aware of all the events occurring on earth.
Prayerfully reflect on the striking similarity between the events that follow the opening of the first six seals and how Jesus answered the disciples questioning on “what sign will signal your coming and the end of the world?” (Matthew 24:3).
In his Bible Commentary on New Testament, Warren Wiersbe shares this comparative list: False Christs/White horse rider (vs.1‐2; Matthew 24:4‐5); Wars/Red horse (vs.3‐4; Matthew.24:6); Famines/Black horse (vs.5‐6; Matthew 24:7a); Death/Pale horse (vs.7b‐8; Matthew 24:7‐8); Martyrs/Martyred (vs.9‐11; Matthew 24:9) and Worldwide chaos (vs.12‐17; Matthew 24:10‐13).
How will you personally respond to this truth? Many of these prophecies have been, and are being fulfilled, a pointer to the nearness, now than ever before, of Christ’s return and the end of the world. Are you ready?

• Pray for Christian Association of Nigeria that God will continue to strengthen them. Pray that God will continue to provide security for them especially as they stand against what is wrong in Nigeria.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Jeremiah 17:14

PRAY FOR:
☛ Grace to endure trials and temptation as we continue to believe God to finish strong and well the race set before us.
☛ Deliberate decision to continue in His righteous and to teach your family members to do the same.
☛ Continuous salvation of the righteous and that God will remain the strength of our brethren under persecution.
PRAY AGAINST:
⚠ All doubtful disputation that the devil is using to cause confusion in this end time among believers.
⚠ Wolves in sheep clothing who act as agents of the devil to keep bringing shame to the group of Christ.
