TOPIC: The Power of Pray

BIBLE READING: Proverbs 13-15

TEXT: “Pray with ceasing” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Rhema For Living 10th August 2022 MESSAGE

One of the greatest forces on the earth is the force of prayer. Whoever can talk to God can talk to any man. Whoever goes on her knees and pray can not be concluded by any man because she can still turn things around; she can still make things happen, she can still provoke the impossible to happen, she can still provoke the supernatural and have mighty turnaround.

In the book of Esther, Haman the adversary had concluded plans to wipe out the entire Jews because they were Mordecai’s people, the Jews who refused to bow down to him. The decree for their extinction has been signed by the king and copies of the writing for a commandment had been given unto the people to be ready against that day.

But Esther, Mordecai and the entire Jews remembered the power of prayer and engaged in three days fasting and prayer so that Esther could go to the king even at a time not permitted. They engaged in the force of prayer and fasting involving God to intervene and give her access to the king and also turn around the decree for their favour.(Rhema For Living 10th August 2022)

On the third day, Esther put on her royal apparel and stood in the inner court of the kings house and when the king saw her, she obtained favour in his sight and he held out the golden scepter in his hand to Esther and Esther drew near and touched the top of it. And then he asked her what her request was, and she told him and it was granted. He carried out everything Esther desired for her people.

Haman the adversary was hung on the gallow he had prepared for Mordecai, and the evil decree to kill the Jews was changed by the king. Rather than been killed on the that day, they feasted and rejoiced.

There is nothing prayer cannot change however bad, worse or complicated it may be. As you engage in prayer, this season, I see your heart desires manifest by fire.

PRAYER: MY Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I awake to pray.
