TOPIC: Do You Need a Fresh Start?

SCRIPTURE: “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.” Exodus 12:2

PONDER THIS
I performed a wedding for a young man, and he was frightened to death. After they said, “I do,” he said, “Pastor, is it all over?” I said, “No, son, it’s just beginning.” When you give your heart to Jesus and you feed on the Lamb, you do it with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand. (See Exodus 12:11.) You are getting ready to serve the Lord. And you become a new creature.

Exodus 12:2 says: “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.” When you give your heart to Jesus, it’s a brand-new day. You’re all tomorrows; you’re no yesterdays. It’s the first day of the rest of your life when you get saved and feed upon the Lamb.
