TOPIC: The House of the Righteous or Wicked?

TEXT: “The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand”. Proverbs. 12:7
Rhema For Living 12th July 2022 OFM Devotional MESSAGE
There are wars and battles you find yourself by reason of the family you came from. Scripture says in 2 Samuel 3:1, “Now there was long war between the house or Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker”.
The war was long so all those who were not initiators of the war, but were later born into that family also became part of the war. In other words, the war continued and they stepped into it by virtue of family connection. However, the second clause in the statement singled out David as waxing stronger and stronger rather than saying the house of David.
Meaning, it takes one man to end the battle in the family. Until someone arises, victory is not established. But in the case of the house of Saul, it singled out no man but it referred to it as the house of Saul and they waxed weaker and weaker. Meaning no one could act valiantly to correct the errors of the family. They all continued in the errors of the initiators of the war.
So the family you came out from matters and should not be ignored if your destiny as a child of God would be realized. If you are of the house of the righteous, you came into a family with a good foundation, therefore build on that foundation by maintaining righteousness.(Rhema For Living 12th July 2022 OFM Devotional)
David arose and became stronger and stronger so also his seeds are expected to after him because the seed of the righteous is mighty on the earth. But if you are of the house of wicked, with evil patterns plaguing family members, as the redeemed of the LORD, refuse to continue with it and arise and fight in the place of prayer disconnecting yourself, standing on your covenant position in Christ. And when you are free indeed, contend for your brethren.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, Evey family connection against my destiny, I disconnect myself by fire.
