Time is Short

Rhema For Living 31 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
Time is running out. Child of God, don’t have this mindset that there is time. Don’t waste your life like the rich man who was always feasting believing there is time and did not plan for eternity. It was only in hell that he realized and it was late then, Luke 19 :25.
Jesus was always working with time, conscious of fulfilling his purpose. In John 9:4, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”. John 2 :4; he said unto her, “Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come”. When it was time for him to go to Calvary, he said the time has come for the son of man to be betrayed into the hands of the evil one.
Ecclesiastes 3 :1, “To every hung there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven”. The world and everything in it is passing away, you are passing away too. A generation comes and goes.
What Mark are you leaving on the foot print in the sands of time? If you die, who will miss you? Dorcas was remembered for the lives she impacted, Acts 9 :36b and 39.
What will you be remembered for? Before you were formed, God prepared you for an assignment (Jer. 1 :5). Are you fulfilling it or you are wasting time feeling that there is still time? Don’t you know you are accountable to your Maker? 2 Cor. 5 :10. For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
That time you are wasting, doing nothing you are going to give account of it. Your account books will be opened and there is a reward for every man’s deed.
In the cemetery, there are many talents, gifts that were not utilized. God is waiting for you to produce result, Rom. 8 :19.
He has deposited much in you and is expecting profit. How are you using your time well because time is running out!
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I arise to utilize my time to fulfilling purpose and pleasing You.
