One Life To Live..(2)

DAILY BIBLE READING:Â Nehemiah 10-11
TEXT: “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out”. 1 Timothy 6 :7.
Some mistake cannot be corrected when made. Eternity is not what to joke with. The rich man played with his time here on earth and when he realized it, it was too late, no remedy, no repair, it was beyond adjusting. And the rich man knew that just like he was careless with his life, his other five (5) brothers were.
Child of God, what are you thinking of? Like the rich man, you think life is all about feasting? Scripture says he was feeding surplusly everyday as if that is all that is to life. A man’s life does not consist of the things that he has.
Our anchor text says, we brought nothing and we are going with nothing.
If you remember there is a time to go, then you will be careful. Father Abraham said, we have Moses and the prophets, let them listen to them. What is your excuse for not having time for God? Despite all Lazarus went through he made heaven. Even though he was poor, dogs licked his wound, was hungry desiring to eat from the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table, but all these did not stop him from serving God. What is stopping you from serving God?
Rom. 8 :35; “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
Who or what shall separate us from making heaven? So “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” Phil. 2 :2;. “Pass the time of your sojourning here is fear” 1 Peter 1 :17b
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, Lord help me not to miss heaven.
