DAILY BIBLE READING: Ezra 1-3

TEXT: “Habakkuk I will stand upon my watch, and set upon the tower, and I will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it”. Habakkuk 2 :1 – 2.

Rhema For Living 23 May 2022 Devotional MESSAGE

The prophet said I will watch and what he will say and the Lord answered. Do you talk with your Maker and he answers you? Abraham was dialoguing with God. In Isaiah 1 :18. God says, “Come lets reason together”, In other words, let’s discuss. You are to wait to hear the voice of God. 1 kings 19 :9; Elijah waited, David inquired (2 kings 30 :8), Abraham communed with God. How do you fellowship with God to hear Him?

Friends talk to each other, father and child discuss. What is your relationship with God? Paul said the Angel of God told me nobody will die in this ship, Acts 27 :24.

The voice of God gives you assurance even in the midst of storm. “God hath spoken once; twice have i heard this; that power belongeth unto God” Psalms 62 :11. Once you hear him. It is done (Psalms 119 :89). Once he has spokenit must surely come to pass, (Matt. 5 :18). Everything heard the voice of God.

Child of God, always hear His voice in your secret place. That us why we pray. Prayer is not just you talking to God and making request, NO! It is you talking to God and God talking to you. You need to love His presence. Enjoy ‘Koinonia’ (intimacy with the Holy Spirit) with the Holy Spirit. Know God for yourself (John 4 :24). God is seeking for people that will walk with Him not work for Him. Genesis 3 :8; “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden…”

The voice of God is always heard in his presence through fellowship, studying His word, fasting, worshipping, preaching to people, playing godly music, having godly discussion; anything that brings God’s presence bring His voice. God’s voice was walking in the garden but Adam and Eve were hiding because they have sinned. God is speaking, are you hiding because you have sinned?

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I flee from sin so that I can always hear you speak.
