Scripture: “For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs” (1 Timothy 6:10, AMPC).

The love of money, not money itself, is the root of all evil. Many people have a wrong relationship with money because they have placed their trust in it instead of in God.
