Read
1 Samuel 21:8-10

  1. And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king’s business required haste.

  2. And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it: for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.

  3. And David arose and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath.

Open Heaven For Teens 5 May 2022 MESSAGE

God expects His children to obey Him completely; however, you need to know that every instruction, idea or directive given by Him is time-bound. I once heard the story of a young university graduate who was pondering over a possible invention.

He thought it would be a good idea to create a device that can store electricity for charging electronic gadgets without necessarily plugging to a socket. This idea remained in his head for over two years until a particular company launched the first mobile power bank.

The young man then became dejected that his idea had been used by someone else. expects His children to obey Him completely; however, you need to know that every instruction, idea or directive given by Him is time-bound. Whenever God drops an instruction or idea in your heart, know that He has given the same to over a hundred in the world, but only those who take action will gain recognition from that achievement.

This is why our memory verse emphasizes the need to make haste in doing the kings business. Have you been called to do something? Dont waste time any longer, please start it now because you will not be young forever.

Action Point
Tick says the clock; tick, tick. What you have to do, do quick.
