TOPIC: Rebuke the Wind
FOCUS SCRIPTURE: “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” (Mark 4: 39)

In our Focal Scripture, Jesus rebuked the wind. Recall that what happened in previous verses was a storm of wind that arose and caused waves of water to beat into the ship. The trouble started with the storm of wind, and later had symptoms of water beating into the ship. Jesus did not bother to speak to the symptoms first; He began with the wind. Jesus addressed the root of the trouble in the sea. He addressed the source of the trouble.
Friend, arise and address the source of every storm that you are dealing with. Arise and address the source of the storms in your health. Arise and address the root of the storms in your marriage and family. Arise and address the root cause of every storm that has arisen in your finances. Arise and address the root of every storm that has emerged in your career, business, ministry, vocation, etc. Speak to the wind behind your waves.
Jesus did not felicitate with the wind. He did not exchange pleasantries with the root of the challenge. He went on the offensive. He went ballistic on the root of the challenge. Stop being nice to the root of your challenges. Go on the offensive against the works of the enemy. Go ballistic against every seat of Satan that is raised against you. Rise in holy anger against every planting of the enemy that is causing you pain.
If Jesus has redeemed you, then you belong to the generation that must uproot every planting of the enemy that is wreaking havoc. If Jesus has redeemed you, then you belong to the generation that must never allow the gates of hell to prevail. If Jesus has redeemed you, then you belong to the generation that must never allow any satanic root that is bearing satanic results to remain. You were made to tear down the altars of Baal.
Don’t be counted amongst men who simply accepted negativity instead of uprooting it from its roots. Rebuke the wind behind your storm. Don’t allow any satanic seed or foundation to remain.
Matthew 15: 13 says: “But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
DECLARATION: I tear down the altars of negativity around me; no seat of Satan will remain, in Jesus’ name!
