But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. – Galatians 5:22-23

When we’re going through a storm, it’s easy to cling to material things — in the moment, they give us a sense of stability.
While material things aren’t necessarily bad, what we really need to be thinking on are the fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
In these moments, we have to wonder how God is going to bring forth that kind of fruit in our own lives.
How is God going to give you peace? By putting you in a situation that doesn’t feel peaceful.
How is God going to give you patience? By putting you in a situation where you have to wait.
When you’re in a situation that’s unsettling, unconventional, or out of your control, practice patience and wait for the fruit to grow.
