Living A Purpose Driven Life

BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 4-6
TEXT: “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure”. Philippians 2 :13.
Child of God, it will interest you to know that every day in our cities and towns, people wake up every day pursuing task with all sense of seriousness only to come to the end of working and discover they are so unfulfilled. The question you must ask yourself is: is this assignment, job and pursuit of mine, God’s purpose or my idea?
It is walking in line with God’s purpose for our lives that gives us fulfillment, that makes our efforts count. You can be working hard spending a lot of time and energy yet be so frustrated and unfulfilled.
God is the one who created desires within us that guides us towards accomplishing divine purpose. Once you are walking according to His divine pleasure, you will see yourself doing things beyond your human capacity making you achieve extraordinary results.
Ephesians 3 :20; says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”. When you are in His purpose, divine force propels you on, making you not give up despite circumstance. It gives you peace in the midst of storm, giving you victory and a progressive life.
In His purpose, you move from glory to glory as Proverbs 4 :18; declares, “Buy the path of the just is as the shinning light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”.
It doesn’t matter how far you have gone, take time and ask Him, “Lord, am I in your purpose?
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, pattern my life according to your purpose.
