FOCUS SCRIPTURE: “Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.” (2 Kings 7: 9)
Streams of Joy 6th February 2022 Devotional MESSAGE
The lepers in our Focal Scripture discovered the abundance that was abandoned in the camp of the Syrians, and they soon were on their way to the king’s house. They had access to good news, and they soon got access to the king’s house. Good news took them to where they ordinarily would not have been able to step into. Good news granted them access to high places. What they discovered gave them access to the king.
Friend, in this season, God is opening your eyes to major discoveries that will give you access to high places. God is causing you to receive good news that will make the kings of this world to send for you. God will grant you uncommon ideas that will make you the preferred one in the king’s court. God is causing you to receive solutions that your generation needs. God is granting you good news that will open the doors of kings to you.
The king of Israel may not ordinarily have wanted to mingle with lepers, but he had no option when they came with information that the entire nation needed. He may not have wanted to see them, but he needed what they had. Hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2022, God will empower you with what will make you irresistible to the kings of this world. God will empower you to have the capacity that will make even your enemies to seek you.
Are there places you have been dreaming of entering? Get set: this year, God is empowering you with the capacity that will grant you access. God is granting you insight that will cause the men you need to come looking for you. God is granting you secret treasures that will position you in the corridors of power. God is causing you to discover the opportunities that will turn your nation around. God is repositioning you for relevance.
Ask God to show you the ‘camp’ that has what your nation needs. Ask God to grant you the good news that will give you access to kings.
Isaiah 45: 3 says: “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.”
Declare With Me: My eyes are open to see the treasures that will give me access to kings, in Jesus’ name!
