Women’s Daily Devotional 15th January 2026 By Jesus Bible Foundation
This devotional is not an invitation to pressure yourself into becoming someone else. It is an invitation to rest in who God already says you are. It is a gentle space where your heart can breathe, your soul can listen, and your spirit can be renewed day by day.
Each day in this devotional is meant to meet you softly—in your mornings, your quiet moments, your pauses between responsibilities. It is written for the woman who loves deeply, gives often, and sometimes forgets to tend to her own heart. It is for the woman who wants to grow closer to God, even if she doesn’t always know how. It is for the woman who believes—but is also learning to trust again.
Welcome to a daily journey where your heart is seen, your faith is strengthened, and your life is held securely in God’s loving care.
Women’s Daily Devotional 15th January 2026 TOPIC: Release the Need to Control
BIBLE VERSE: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
REFLECTION: Control can feel like safety—especially when you’ve been disappointed before. When things have gone wrong, you learn to grip tighter, plan harder, and stay alert. But control is heavy, and over time, it quietly drains peace from your heart.
God is inviting you into a softer way to live this year: trust.
Trust doesn’t mean you stop being wise or responsible. It means you stop carrying outcomes that were never meant to rest on your shoulders. It means releasing the need to manage everything so you don’t get hurt again.
There are things you cannot control:
other people’s choices,
timing that feels slow,
doors that open or close unexpectedly.
But you can trust the God who sees the full picture.
When you loosen your grip, peace grows. When trust deepens, fear loses its voice. God does not ask you to surrender control so you feel unsafe—He asks so you can finally rest.
PRAYER: Lord, I release what I’ve been trying to control. I confess that I’ve held tightly out of fear and past hurt. Teach me to trust You with outcomes, timing, and the things I cannot fix. Straighten my path and steady my heart as I lean fully on You. I choose trust over control today. Amen.
