TOPIC: You Cannot Be Stopped
SCRIPTURE: “And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor.” Joshua 6:2. (KJV)
TREM Daily Devotional 27 April 2022 MESSAGE
Whichever way you look at it, God is on your side. He will surely perfect everything that concerns you. In Joshua 6:1, the scripture says that Jericho was straightly shut. “Now Jericho was straightly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in”. Jericho was shut down to ensure that nobody gets his inheritance. Jericho was the city that they had to conquer to get their inheritance.
The Inheritance was there but they had to firstly, conquer the city. Everywhere was shut! But the Lord said to Joshua: “I have given into thine hand, Jericho…” According to historians, the walls of Jericho were so thick that vehicles can comfortably drive on them. No one can penetrate the walls. But God’s people cannot be stopped. “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31. KJV)
And so, God said to Joshua: you are not going to fire a shot. All you have to do is, go round the city once, every day for six days, and on the seventh day, blow the trumpet and give a loud shout. That wasn’t conventional. But Joshua and his men did just that and the walls of Jericho came down. How do you explain that? The enemy soldiers were all over the walls with their bows and arrows. Yet they marched around the walls daily for seven days.(TREM Daily Devotional 27 April 2022)
I want to announce to you today that you can’t be stopped. Just believe and keep going! That baby will not be aborted! Your womb is meant to carry your babies. You will carry your babies. No more defeat! No more limitations! No more molestation! Every wall facing you is coming down! Good success is your portion.
The person keeping you does not slumber nor sleep, so why are you refusing to sleep? Why are you stressed up and worried? rest and watch Him do what he specializes, in doing. He is a specialist in handling difficult situations. In Christ, you are standing on favoured ground! In Christ, you are standing on a superior platform! In Christ, you cannot be stopped! Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
