Matthew 15:21-28

THE UPPER ROOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 17TH DECEMBER 2022 MESSAGE
When my daughter left to study in another city, I was alone for the first time in my life. This was a big transition for me. I had grown used to caring for my daughter and teaching her. As a Christian parent, I find great comfort in prayer. Every day I trust my daughter’s life into God’s hands and ask God to provide her protection and wisdom. Even though my daughter is now an adult and living in another city, prayer is one way that I can continue to care for her every day. I have found that prayer also gives me strength and helps me adjust to a new stage in my life.

Dear God, we are grateful that we can trust our loved ones to your care. We ask you to protect and bless them every day. Amen.
