TOPIC: No Usurper

Streams of Joy Devotional August 14, 2023 MESSAGE:
It is instructive to observe that before Solomon became king, there was an elder brother named Adonijah who schemed to become king. Adonijah got some important men in David’s government on his side, and he proclaimed himself king. Adonijah was not the chosen one, the throne was meant for Solomon, and Adonijah arose as a contender against the throne. In the end, despite the efforts of Adonijah, Solomon got the throne.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter the contenders that arise against you, you will not lose your throne and crown. No matter how many people are contending for the space that God has made for you at the top, you will not lose your place. No matter the scheming that is targeted at the opportunities that heaven has made available to you, you will not lose your place. You will not be pushed out of your throne.
The elevation of Solomon came by the word of the Lord and by the proclamation of the king, and in the end, Adonijah and his fellow usurpers were not able to take the throne from him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your rising is by the word of the Lord, your throne and crown is by the decree of the King, and no usurper will take what God has put your name on it. Your crown will not fit another head; another will not sit on your throne.
You belong to that generation whose portion cannot be taken by another. You belong to the generation whose greatness cannot be thwarted or exchanged. Your throne will not be exchanged with a lower place in destiny. You will not be pushed out of your God-given opportunities. You will not be pushed out of your higher grounds. You will not have God give you new grounds and mere men will take you out of it.
If God has destined it for you, you will not lose it to other men. If God has positioned you for the crown, another head will not wear it. If God has destined you for the throne, no usurper will take it.
DECLARATION: No usurper will take my throne and crown, in Jesus’ name!
