FOCUS SCRIPTURE: “And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.” (Acts 12: 11)

When Peter left the prison and eventually came to himself, he realized that he had just received the help of an angel of the Lord. Peter was probably not the only prisoner in the prison, but the angel of the Lord came for him and he was freed while others remained. Peter did not break out of the prison on his own accord; he left because help came to him in the form of an angel. Peter received angelic help to break out of Herod’s prison.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are receiving angelic help to break out of Herod’s prison. You are receiving angelic help to break out of confinement. You are receiving angelic help to cross the lines that your haters said you will not cross. You are receiving angelic help to possess your possessions. You are receiving angelic help to enter into your new season. You are receiving angelic help to advance beyond where you are.
There were brethren who gathered to pray for Peter, and their prayers simply mobilized an angel of the Lord to move to the prison and get Peter out. Prayers caused an angel of the Lord to swing into action. As you raise prayers for divine intervention, ask the Lord to send you angels that will open the iron gates for you. Ask the Lord to send you angels with drawn swords to fight your battles. Ask the Lord to send angels on assignment.
There are angels waiting to announce you in high places. There are angels waiting to take you to places you cannot enter in by yourself. There are angels waiting to put your name in the minds of new clients. There are angels waiting to tear down the walls of your Jericho. There are angels waiting to be sent to deliver your loved ones from prison. There are angels waiting to be assigned to run destiny errands that will move you forward.
Use your prayers to activate the ministry of angels. They are God’s messengers at your service, ready to obey your orders when you issue them.
Psalm 34: 7 says: “The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.”
