TOPIC: Commanded Helpers
MEMORY VERSE: “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.” (Isaiah 60: 12)
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Kings 17:1-16
FOCUS: “Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.” (1 Kings 17: 9)
In our Focal Scripture, God told Elijah that He had commanded a widow woman to sustain him in Zarephath. Notice that Elijah was not about to receive help from a random person; he was going to receive the help of someone that had already been commanded to help him. He was going to receive the help of someone who had already been commanded by God to help him. Elijah received the blessing of commanded help.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in this season, God is commanding men to help you. God will position commanded men who will freely help you. God will position people who will carry you to your next level. God will position men who will speak for you. God will position men who are commanded to fight on your behalf. God will position helpers who have been commanded to carry you to your new levels. God will send you commanded helpers.
You may have experienced help from random people who merely chose out of their own will to favour or help you, but in this season, God is sending you men who are commanded to help you. God is sending you men who will help you even against their own wishes. God is sending you men who will insist on giving you help even when you don’t deserve it. God will send you men who will cause you to receive the help you need.
The season of being without the help you need, is over. The season of being stranded as others, is over. The season of running after men because you need their help, is over. The season of people refusing to help you, is over. Henceforth, help and helpers will follow you wherever you go. Commanded helpers will help you even when you want them to stop. Commanded helpers will show up for you even when you don’t know how they will show up.
Men that heaven has specially prepared to help you will locate you speedily in this season. Commanded helpers are coming your way in this season.
