MEMORY VERSE
“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” (Psalm 100: 3)
SCRIPTURE READING: JOHN 5: 1-15
FOCUS: “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.” (John 5: 4)
Streams of Joy Devotional 14th January 2024 MESSAGE:
The scenario at the pool of Bethesda was that an Angel came in certain seasons to stir the waters, and whoever was the first to get in, was made whole. There were multitudes in Bethesda, but only one person could be healed at a time, once in every season. If the Angel came once a year, then only one person got healed and was made whole in the entire year. The pool of Bethesda was symbolic of many men with limited opportunities.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2024, you will not be caught in the web of limited opportunities. You will not be counted amongst them with capacity but no opportunities. You will not be counted amongst them that wait all year for just one opportunity to show up. You will not be counted amongst them that are unlucky when it comes to opportunities. It will never be said that you sought opportunities and found none.
Several multitudes in Bethesda were ready to be healed, but only one person could be healed per time. Men were ready to take the opportunity for their healing, but the opportunities were not forth coming. Hear me as I hear the Lord: you will not be counted amongst them that are ready but without opportunities. As you prepare for opportunities, you will have more than you prepared for. Your readiness will never be in vain.
I pray for you: in 2024, you will have more than enough opportunities. You will have opportunities to rise and advance. You will have opportunities to become more. You will have opportunities to hit new milestones. You will have opportunities to attain new levels. You will have opportunities for international recognition. You will have opportunities to make wealth. You will have opportunities that will take you higher.
Welcome to your new season of endless opportunities. Your chances will not be few. Your opportunities will be many.
DECLARATION
In 2024, I shall have mega and multiple opportunities, in Jesus’ name!
