TOPIC: Multiple Results
SCRIPTURE READING: John 5: 1-14 (KJV)
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.
12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?
13 And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
FOCUS VERSE:
“The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.” (John 5: 7)
Streams of Joy Daily Devotional 9th August 2025 MESSAGE:
In our Focal Scripture, whilst telling the tale of why he had been at the pool without getting healed, the man at the pool told Jesus about how he would go to try his luck, but another person would get there before him. When the angel stirred the waters, only one person could get healed. It was an era of single results. Notice that in the dispensation of Jesus, He healed multitudes; He fed multitudes; He did miracles in multiples.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: welcome to your season of multiple results. You may have been accustomed to having results come in trickles, but hear me as I hear the Lord: you will witness a surge of results that will come back-to-back. As you celebrate one result, more will be waiting immediately afterwards. As you celebrate in one area of your life, more results will be waiting on other areas. You are in for multiple results.
People at Bethesda waited for a long season, only for one person to get healed. Jesus came with a better offer, where countless numbers could be healed at once. Jesus came with a higher offer, where people did not need to wait for long seasons or long breaks before they could be healed. Hear me as I hear the Lord: the season of waiting for so long before one result shows up, is over. The season of seasonal results, is over in your life.
Your time for multiple results, has begun. Get set for multiple results in your career; get set for multiple results in your business; get set for multiple results in your ministry; get set for multiple results in your family; get set for multiple results in every facet of your life; get set to be chased my multiple results on all sides; get set for a season of unending mega results. Get set for that season when you will celebrate and be congratulated.
The season of once-in-a-long-while results, is over. Welcome to your season of multiple results.
Amos 9: 13 (MSG) says: “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now. GOD’s Decree. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once- and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”
DECLARATION: I am in my season of multiple results, in Jesus’ name!
