Streams of Joy Daily Devotional 30 July 2024 (Tuesday) Message
TOPIC: They Will Rise
SCRIPTURE READING: 1 Samuel 17: 1-53
FOCUS VERSE: “And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.” (1 Samuel 17: 52)
In our Focal Scripture, after Goliath had fallen, the men of Israel arose and pursued the Philistines. These were the same men who were terrified by the words of Goliath. These same men had spent forty days listening to the daily speeches of Goliath. These same men were once too fearful to arise. David did the job of cutting off the head of Goliath, and the men of Israel and Judah arose. David’s complete victory was the rising of many.
Friend, there are people who will not arise until you completely decimate your ‘Goliath’. There are family members who will not arise until you prayerfully conquer the opposition to your destiny. There are higher levels that will elude many if you fail to win the battles you are faced with. There are new chapters that will not open to those connected to you until you arise and cut down the altars of negativity around you. Some risings will not happen until you arise and cut off every negativity.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: as you cut down the altars of negativity raised against you, there will be an uncommon rising. Your victory is for the rising of many. Your victory will cause your career, business, ministry, finances, health, vocation, etc. to rise. Your victory will spur other men to arise and conquer whatever it is that they are facing. Your victory is a seed that will birth the rising of many. Your victory will instigate a rising.
The men of Israel had capacity to arise and chase after the Philistines, but they never arose until David cut off the head of Goliath. They never arose until David completed his own victory over Goliath. There are many connected to you who may never arise until you complete your victory. Some may never arise until you press forward into the assignment that God has given you. Some may never arise until you break forth on all sides.
Remember, if you fail to decimate your ‘Goliath’, some men may not be able to arise, and some things may be unable to arise. Go ahead and slay your ‘Goliath’.
Isaiah 60: 1 says: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
DECLARATION: As I break forth and decimate my ‘Goliath’, everything connected to me will arise, in Jesus’ name!
