FOCUS SCRIPTURE: “The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,” (Ezekiel 37: 1)
Streams of Joy Daily Devotional 12 August 2022 MESSAGE
The dry bones that Ezekiel saw in our Focal Scripture were the remains of men who were slain in battle. They came to fight battles, but they ended up as victims. They came to win, but they were defeated. They came to succeed, but they failed. They came against people who were stronger than them, and those who were stronger than them slew them until they were all dead. They were brought down by stronger opposers.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every battle you are currently facing against an opposition that is stronger than you, I command it to end now. I command every opposition that is more formidable than you to go down now. I command every adversity that is stronger than you to go down now. I command every plot of the enemy that is too much for you to go down now. I command every battle bigger than you to end now. (Streams of Joy Daily Devotional 12 August 2022)
Today, I pray for you: you will not be a victim in the same places where you seek victory. You will not be a failure in the same places where you seek success. You will not be defeated in the same places where you came to win. You will not be downed by stronger opposers. You will not be a victim of conspiracies that are bigger than you. You will not be a victim of negativity that is too much for you to handle. You will not suffer reduction.
Today, I pray for you: in every area where you are already a victim, let the tables turn in your favour. In every area where you are already being defeated, let the tables turn in your favour and make way for your victory. In every area where you are already failing despite your efforts, receive divine assistance to succeed. In every area where you are already going down, receive divine help to go up. Let the Lord overturn it in your favour.
You will not be a victim. You didn’t show up so that you can be defeated. The days of failure are over. No longer shall you arise and be consumed by battles bigger than you.
Isaiah 54: 14 says: “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.”
DECLARATION: I will not be a victim; I will not be consumed by battles bigger than me, in Jesus’ name!
