Streams of Joy 8th February 2025 Daily Devotional (Saturday) Message
TOPIC: You Will Be Announced
SCRIPTURE READING: 2 Kings 9
“Then they hasted, and took every man his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, Jehu is king.” (2 Kings 9: 13)
In our Focal Scripture, the captains who sat with Jehu when kingship beckoned on him, blew with trumpets and proclaimed that Jehu had become king. In bible times, kingship was not handled in secrecy. Kingship was accompanied by the blowing of trumpets which signaled the commencement of the reign of a new king. It was a public announcement of kingship. The greatness that was bestowed on Jehu was publicly announced.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: El Roi will cause you to be announced. Your greatness is about to be announced. Your relevance is about to be announced. God will announce you to your generation. Those who never knew you are about to hear about you. Those who never met you are about to send for you. People around you will become messengers of your announcement. Everything around you will turn to your announcers.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: in 2025, men will not only announce you, but El Roi Himself will announce you. God will make mention of your name to people that matter. God will announce you to kings and nobles. God will announce you to the nations. God will announce you in places where your relevance will grow in leaps and bounds. God will cause your name to be known. God will make your name great.
When God announces a man, his generation will have no option but to seek him out for favour. When God announces a man, obscurity makes way for undeniable visibility. When God announces a man, current levels make way for next levels. When God announces a man, struggles make way for triumph. When God announces a man, battles make way for enthronement. When God announces a man, He sets such a man ahead.
Welcome to your season of announcement. Welcome to that season where heaven will announce you to your generation.
Genesis 12: 2 says: “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”
DECLARATION: Heaven has announced me; I shall no longer be hidden, in Jesus’ name!
