Streams of Joy 6th February 2025 Daily Devotional (Thursday) Message
TOPIC: No Covering
SCRIPTURE READING: 2 Kings 9
“11. Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication. 12. And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel.” (2 Kings 9: 11-12)
When the son of the prophet that anointed Jehu left, the captains who sat with Jehu enquired about what message he got from the ‘mad’ man. Jehu had been anointed in secret, the captains didn’t see him being anointed, but it seemed that the anointing was speaking. Even when Jehu declined to speak of what the Lord had done for him, what was done for him could not keep silent. What God did for Jehu could not be covered.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: you are about to receive that mind-blowing wonder that will speak for itself. God is about to do a miracle for you that will announce itself. God is about to open major financial gates for you that will be too obvious to anyone who looks at you. By reason of what the Lord is about to do for you, your destiny will no longer be hidden. The greatness that God is bestowing on you will be loud.
Captains who didn’t witness the anointing of Jehu could tell that something serious had transpired between him and the son of the prophet. What God did could not keep silent no matter how silent Jehu wanted to be. Hear me as I hear the Lord: no matter how hard you try to cover what the Lord is about to do, it will not be covered. The mighty deeds of El Roi will scream at the roof top no matter how hard you try to keep it silent.
Hear me as I hear the Lord: the works of the Lord in your life will no longer be hidden. Your destiny will no longer be covered. Your family will no longer be covered. The works of your hands will not be covered. Your new season will not be covered. Your favour will not be covered. Your career will not be covered. Your business will not be covered. Let there be a huge unveiling and heavy manifestation of the works of God upon your life.
Welcome to that season where your destiny will not be covered. Welcome to that season where the mighty works of El Roi will announce itself in your life.
Isaiah 25: 7 says: “And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.”
DECLARATION FOR TODAY: My destiny will not be covered, in Jesus’ name!
